2012-01-18 Video: Can These Markets Continue To Float Higher?

Once again, the S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES H2) are trading higher by 3.50 points to 1292.75 per contract. Earlier today, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that they are likely going to boost their lending operations by $500 billion. This news caused a major spike in the S&P 500 futures when it was released. Investors are now asking where is the IMF going to get this money from? Leading investment bank Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:GS) reported earnings this morning. The financial giant reported earnings that were mixed. In any case, the stock is trading higher from by $1.32 to $99.00 a share. Many companies are reporting earnings this week, so far the markets have continued to climb higher this week.
