2011-10-26 Video: Markets Start Higher Again, Here Is What Will Keep It Up

Once again, the major stock index futures are all trading higher before the opening bell. The S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES Z1) are higher by 6.75 points to 1231.25 per contract. The catalyst for the pop in the futures market is the European bailout and the falling U.S. Dollar Index. News reports have been released telling us that the BRIC nations will help to bailout Europe. While the markets are trading higher on this news we shall see if it is actually true. Why would China, India, Russia, and Brazil make an investment in Europe when they can see how bad things are there? Oh well, that is what makes a market.
