The major stock market indexes are trading flat before the opening bell. This type of action before the open is becoming common as the traders and investors await the news out of the politicians in Washington. The S&P 500 Index futures (ES U1) are trading higher by 3.00 points to 1302.00 per contract. There are still many problems in the European Union. This morning, Italy had a poor 10 year bond auction. This weak auction by the troubled nation is putting pressure on the European markets. Traders can expect the problems in Europe to last for the remainder of the year.
