The stock market prepares for a wild week as debt ceiling talks continue. Friday evening the markets took a hit when talks broke apart. This may set an ugly tone for Monday if there is no deal reached by the markets open. Next week we will see more major earnings announcements and economic news. The wild summer trading should continue. Last week, financial stocks put in a pivot low. Stocks like Goldman Sachs and Bank of America should be looked at as buys on strong pull backs. In addition, small cap plays should remain hot.
