Loving the action on FSLR here.. this is exactly what i wanted to see coming out of this stock. Also AAPL is showing signs of a blow off top, which is great for the short sellers, they’ll like shorting this upon another move higher with stronger volume. Nice blow off top on the SPY, i’m adding another position of SDS (now 3% total), at an average of $28.94.

12:45pm
The dollar  ETF or (UUP) is forming a potential H&S formation with the neckline right at 23.40. I think that as long as it’s able to stay above 23.35-23.40 the dollar can still rally back, but once we break below, i’d be very worried about the market staging an additional rally.

Here’s the Daily:

12:17pm
We will start thinking about shorting AAPL very soon here. All AAPL fibs point to a top around the $146-149 levels and I think this stock is a little over done, i’m hoping for a clear topping pattern like a H&S or a massive 3% spike to short on.

12:09pm
The SPY daily is definitely showing that it is time to short. The market has hit the top of the channel. My guess is we can still move slightly higher, but in general taking a short position with a 2-3% stop will most likely be profitalbe.

12:05pm
GS is pushing it’s way back up, after it retraced it’s neckline. You know i’m a fan, it had such great entry points.

12:03pm

Daniel went long on his natural gas intraday trades, but the reason he’s successful is because he’s seeing the longer term trend changing as well.  It looks like we have a bottom in UNG, and i was talking about this yesterday. We have our breakout today, and this could be the start of a new push higher:

I got long Nat Gas above the day high and scalped a quick 10cents.  It was too fast of a trade to post here though.  You can still be holding long if you wished, I think we’ll see 4.3 very soon in /ng.

That oil long really worked out well if any of you guys held on.  A nice $1 move from the day’s high translates to $1,000 on a 1lot in the futures.  I got early as I mentioned, but great trade to anyone who is still in (could be a very nice swing trade with a stop below today’s low.)

I’m done for the day, take care!

10:32

Well, I took some profits on nat gas, but was stopped out on the other 1/2.  Overall I came on top $60.  Wasn’t as good a follow through to the upside as I would’ve liked.  I’ll look to get long oil here if we can continue this rally after the EIA number (my order long is at 84.92.)

9:56AM

I cut that trade a bit too quickly in oil.  Last candle came in and took us down to the $84.28 mark.  Oh well, I’m waiting till after the report to initiate any other trades.

Meanwhile, I was just filled in nat gas.  I like this trade long above the high of the day, I think nat gas daily has put in a potential double bottom, and we are headed higher to correct the large leg down we had from the beginning of the year.  My fill was 4.203, I have a stop in place at 4.182 and 4.113.  I’m looking to take profits at 4.223 on 1/2 and I’ll let the rest ride if momentum continues to the upside (given that we are new highs for the week, I think there is a good chance we see 4.3 either today or tomorrow.  I don’t hold positions overnight, so I’d prefer that to be today.)

9:34AM

I cut that trade in oil.  Very quiet activity here ahead of the number.  I’ll go along above the high of the day if I see some volume, if not I’ll just wait till after the number.  I’m long /es right off the open, risking 1pt to make 2 (in at 1198.25)  ***And yet again I’m reminded the /es doesn’t move, I wonder why I still place day trades on it at this point, I just don’t seem to learn.

9:25AM

Just got short oil at 84.71.  I took a part off at 84.61, but I’ll look to let the other 1/2 ride to the 84.20-84 mark.  Remember, today is the EIA report at 10:30, so expect heightened volatility on oil at that time.

On Nat Gas, I’m getting long above 4.203, or short below 4.114, the high and lows of that 5min candle (which had big volume and big breadth of 89 ticks.)
