Market looks a little toppy for today, we do have a H&S formation forming here. I’d like to see 1112 break before i go short, but so far woo has been right on the money. I will be back in full swing starting tomorrow when i get home!

this is all noise. NYT … some rumour of a bond holder buying the company. SQUEEZE the shorts out. an HOUR LATER the rumour is said to be just that. LMAO. the games

the market is doing what i thought so i must stay the course. until the noise becomes a rally i need not change my thinking. looking for a close around 1112. looking for a reversal tomorrow. if i get my head handed to me so be it.

hollow red candle was a signal to buy. looks like a good long. id put a stop below the price level of that red candle if was going to take a position. if i was watching it id be buyer that day.

the MORNING VOLUME buy ………… came top at 1114. this is now showing as the support level. this 1114 level must be reveresed early tomorrow or the bear case is looking rather ugly. im using the 15 minute chart.
1116 is a visible topping candle. but no follow through to the downside.

this thursday and friday. Number could be skewed by 2-300K on downside by snow-

its because of the world wide TRIDENT GUM shortage that everyone is stressed out. also, we have a problem with McNuggets and people that are hungry cant find the energy to look for work.

———— AIG ———— another way to look at things. help to understand the price action. take these two days and put them together. the bad news + good news has resulted in a move from the $28.50 close to a current price of $25.95 on HUGE VOLUME… you cant consider this bullis for AIG. bought my puts just above the 40SMA

Woo, what do you make of the calm and lack of intraday volatility? I know
the first 2-4 days of month tend to be up loaded but we are not seeing
the opening dip any longer.
That type of complacency signaled prior 8% corrections or am i reading too much into
the rock steady rises? Or is it a sign of bear capitulation?
rises like this allow for relatively high RSI, that don’t go too overbought, so that it can do consistent rises over a period of days. can’t look for too much bearishness until it actually happens. i would not go bearish on this until it is confirmed.
i won’t even consider a short position till a strong drop, or 1122 hits.

thanks! i posted if we dont hit my target of 1085. by the time this roller coaster ride got to the 20SMA it was 1086. close enough. got what i wanted did what i wanted and now im up in some down in others. in and out of some as this market shakes me up.
im as frustrated as the next person here. anyone who was trading well has not been doing so hot lately. where is Morris?
one thing im pretty certain here is the market is near an area where it should pull back. the exact price is never certain. if you go long here im thinking you only get a few points out of it.
My calls are very similar to Richards and I’ve lost so much money, it makes me ill. I am short – the financials – which makes it even worse. I am a bear and every time the people on this board start talking bearish the market shoots up. I am rude not because I disagree with Richard but because I really do believe that flooding the BB with bearish calls is being watched by the “big boy” computers and AI is advanced enough to see what we are talking about, so every time a bear pontificates, the likelyhood of a down market decreases. ANd I am not talking Yahoo boards. They focus in on StockTock because of all the technical expertise. This is a microcosm of the world of real traders. My brother in law trades at CBOT and he tells me there have been many trader suicides this year.
Here is my basic position. I will not get more specific, but a human being who reads this can probably figure it out. This month I have sold call spreads. Come OPEX I will let you know whether I was wiped out, made my money or made enough money to roll over the whole friggen mess to April and let hell repeat for another month. As for the money that will see me through retirement without panhandling, 85% is in 2% TIPS and will stay there even if I am wiped out in my high risk trades. Inflation or deflation, I’ll never lose 1 minute of sleep from TIPS.
I wish somebody was really rude to me about 8 months ago. I wish they slapped me across the face and said “wake up you idiot.” I would be 100K richer if I took their advice.

MAYBE I AM A CONTRARIAN INDICATOR …….. moments after i buy NYT PUTS after watching the stock trade for weeks. one of the main stake holders is rumoured to buy the company. it is later refuted and he comes out and talks up NYT like it will be the epicenter of profits due to its overwhelming value to the USA as a source of news… not a printer of papers.

One thing I would love to see big boys do is a drop on VIX to a new low tomorrow and then we can load some April/May puts. I recently learned not to play with options when VIX is up and when VIX is in a new low then that is the perfect opportunity that big boys sometimes make for us to load front month puts. Lets all thank big boys for all these opportunity they make for us. Thank big boys. Please drop the VIX tomorrow so we all can load puts. We will follow you all the time and we love you.

this rally is sponsored by the FED once again. now they announce they want out of BAC warrants and to convert to AIG common and sell it on the market. they will do anything to keep this market afloat so they can unload these positions at a profit and announce to the USA that they did a good thing. this will stop the pitchforks and fire sticks and airplanes flying into government buildings. one problem is :: IRS has been attacked twice recently so they need to hurry.
