Intraday Commentary ~ 06/17/2009

9:05am
Weakness will come in from the financials and commodities in the next few weeks. Also overbought tech stocks should be shorted: AAPL, AMZN being some of them.

8:46am
CPI only up 0.1% … wow deflation to come!  I like DUG.

8.15pm (tuesday): **Read The Whole Thing**
Hey guys today I will be gone because I’m on a flight to paris, and will be flying to new york and north carolina on friday. So I will have a busy few days, so for your own good, trade together! share charts! and watch chris’ video which i agree with. I expect potentially a down to flat open, but a sell off to come in early trading because we bounced off the 91.65 SPY support  and fell down in late trading. NEVERTHELESS, I don’t necessarily believe that the redness will continue through the whole day, so if you remain short into tomorrow, take profits sometime close to the open, we might want to retest 923 as resistance now.
CPI comes out at 8.30 am, and Bernanke Speaks at 9.00am. My portfolio for Q2 shifted into positive territory for the first time since late april, as intraday trade profits covered my swing trade loses from mid april-late may. Portfolio sits close to 74% UP for 2009.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND QUALIFIED:
I am looking for 3 additional intraday traders to join my online trading team starting late july-early august. You will be compensated pretty well for your time and effort (pretty much free money), but you won’t really have to do much more than what you already do at home. If you  are interested and want to know more email  me at: idan.koren@duke.edu

Qualifications Required:
-AT LEAST 5 years of trading experience.
-You have to be an intraday trader and make an average of 8-10 trades a day.
-You have to have to have a record of profitability for 2007-2008, and 2008-2009 (so far).
-You need to have 25K+ in your account.
-You will need to be trading at least 12-13 hours a week, and an average of 14 hours.
-You need a microphone/fast computer.
*I recommend you have a blog with followers too.
