Craig and I did spend quite some time debating whether or not it made sense to launch a new site or just extend the coverage within StockTock. We had a good look at the StockTock community and found that it's really a niche group of people primarily interested in trading and market movements. Our objective with EconomyTock was to create a site for a wider, non-trader audience. We want to broaden the sites reach, but not dilute the quality of TA and market related content on StockTock. As Craig said above, we'll give this a go and see where the community takes it. But, keep the feedback coming. It’s great to hear everyones feedback on the new site. Especially today when economic policy is so intertwined with politics. I do not want StockTock to become a political soundboard, which I think could become a distraction from trading. If we find the distinction unnecessary or the two sites too confusing, we can always merge them back together.
